How We Achieved a Green Rating on Yuka and Codecheck for Our SPF Face Cream

We’re excited to introduce our new Face Cream SPF 15, the third addition to our face cream lineup, now with built-in sun protection.

What you might not know is the effort it took to create a sunscreen-infused face cream that not only protects your skin but also earns top marks on apps like Yuka and Codecheck.

Understanding Sunscreen Ingredients

Sunscreens typically use two types of active ingredients:

• Chemical filters absorb UV rays before they can damage the skin.
• Physical (mineral) filters block UV rays from penetrating the skin.
  

Both types are safe and effective, and many modern sunscreens combine them for optimal protection.

Tackling the Texture Challenge

Sunscreens often have a reputation for being sticky, greasy, or leaving a white residue. We set out to create a product that’s pleasant and lightweight for daily use.

Achieving Excellent Ratings

We’re proud to share that our Face Cream SPF 15 received an “excellent” rating of 93/100 on Yuka. This is thanks to our careful selection of high-quality ingredients like glycerine, jojoba oil, and vitamin E, as well as the use of two new-generation chemical sunscreen agents that don’t leave white traces on your skin.

With this product, we’ve combined effective sun protection with a clean, skin-friendly formula that meets the high standards of ingredient-conscious consumers.
